What we set ourselves

Number Buffet sets no cookies of its own. It uses one localStorage entry, which is not a cookie and is never transmitted with requests:

It is strictly necessary for the functionality you asked for and persists until you clear your browser data. The site works without it, though it will forget your theme between visits.

Advertising cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to deliver and measure ads and, with your consent, to personalise them based on your activity across sites. These are set by Google, not by us, and we cannot read them.

Infrastructure

Cloudflare serves the site and may set a security cookie to identify trusted traffic and mitigate attacks. This is a strictly necessary security measure.

Your choices

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you will be asked to consent before advertising cookies are set. That request is presented by Google's certified consent management platform, which records your choice and passes it to advertising vendors under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Your choice is stored by Google rather than by us.

You can change or withdraw it at any time through Cookie choices in the footer, which reopens the same dialog. The link appears everywhere, but the dialog is only shown in regions where the consent requirement applies.

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies or storage may stop parts of the site working — in particular, your theme preference will not persist between visits.
